What Is A Misting Pump, And Why Is It Important?

Do you find that your misting system is not quite working the way it should? If you are having trouble controlling the water pressure, or if the water pressure is too high or too low, then you probably need to make sure you have a misting pump that works properly. The misting pump is the heart of the misting system, and under the right care and proper maintenance, it can last for several years. There are a couple different types of misting pumps, and each are helpful in their own ways:

The direct drive misting pump has a motor that comes complete with a thermal overload. To more efficiently shield the solenoid branch circuit, it also contains a fuse protection.

The pulley drive misting pump system includes the same benefits as the direct drive misting pump system: a motor with a thermal overload and fuse protection for the branch circuits. It also comes with an internal circuit breaker. In order to protect itself from becoming damaged from not having enough water to work with, pulley drive misting pumps contain a feature that prevent the water supply inside the pump from getting too low.
