Trendy Alternative Jewellery and Accessories can make a world of difference to your look. If you are trying to reinvent your wardrobe or help add a little flair to your persona looking for Victorian Goth accessories can really add an element of the unexpected to your outfits. Here are a few ideas of how you can introduce some edgier pieces to your wardrobe:

  • Cuff Watches: Cuff watches with a Victorian Goth design are an excellent way to add trendy alternative jewellery and accessories to your wardrobe. They are a far more substantial piece of jewellery and are made of authentic materials such as brass. They are borderline clunky, but have a sense of witchy wonder to them. There is a sense of history to them but they are not overtly feminine if that “too pretty” look is not to your liking.
  • Cameos: Cameo jewellery is elegant and pretty but modern renditions of this popular Victorian piece are made a little edgier in silver with black backgrounds. They can be worn as earrings as well as pendant necklaces. You can also place a broach at your collar as a clasp for a fru fru look. If you want a sexier look to avoid looking too prudish wear your broach with a closed top halter neck blouse with a touch of lace.
  • Art Nouveau: You can also go for silver art nouveau designs in necklaces, earrings and bracelets. These jewellery pieces have a Goth feel to them with common designs that are close to a sort of “fleur de lis” sensibility.
  • Chokers: The simplest and easiest way to add a gothic edginess to your look is to start wearing chokers. Chokers come in a number of styles including lace instead of chains combined with interesting medallions including cameos and pendants such as skulls or bats. There is a truly feminine feel to chokers and sexiness especially when worn with lower necklines. Crosses, tear drop jewels and symbols of varying designs all work well on chokers that can then be matched with a pair of earrings.
  • Rings: A lot of people don’t consider rings in their accessory plans. But rings can really add a sense of style to your look. You can focus on brass or silver rings with the same themes reflected in the design including cameos, skulls, bats and filigrees paired with gem stones. Look for heavier styles to draw attention to your hands and put on a coat of rich, deep nail polishes to complete the look.

These trendy alternative jewellery and accessories can provide a subdued shock factor to your look you play up or tone down.
