by | Dec 20, 2018 | Coating

The powder premium coating industry is growing. Statistics indicate the need for these products is continuing to increase annually. One market sector exhibiting strong growth patterns is industrial floor powder coating. This is true nationally in American states such as Michigan as well as globally in Europe and Asia. In fact, estimates project the market of this sector to surpass $7 billion by the year 2024.

When the economy grows, companies expand their contracts and/or facilities. With a growth in manufacturing facilities comes the need to ensure the floors of the structures meet the demands and address any specific concerns. In many cases, this means the application of specific types of floor coverings.

The food and beverage industry is one that requires particular floor coverings. They need to maintain an environment in which the essential qualities are purity, cleanliness and high quality. Powder coating is the perfect response to such specifications. Among the most plausible candidates is epoxy.

Epoxy powder coatings are dominate in several markets. They are very durable. They also provide among the highest resistance to chemicals and other corrosive forces. Throughout Michigan and other American states, epoxy is a common coating for industrial floors. It is common in the food and beverage industry as well as in manufacturing facilities.

Warehouses also find epoxy floors attractive. Concrete on its own is simply not sufficient protection against the normal wear-and-tear on such floors. Not only is easy to install epoxy to concrete, but it is also relatively simple to maintain. As a result, its demand in this specific market segment continues to increase.
